Dear Dr Paul , I’m confused…. A healthy 25 year old woman is seen in the post-natal clinic 6 weeks after normal vaginal delivery. “She is breastfeeding but has not started menstruating”. She is sexually active using condoms and wishes to commence effective hormonal contraception but does not wish to take tablets. What is the answer if not B . 3) You are asked to see a healthy 35 year old woman on the post-natal ward to discuss contraception. She fell pregnant while waiting to see her GP to discuss contraception after her last pregnancy. She is breast-feeding and does not wish to take tablets Why C provided the risk of prolonged heavy bleeding is the same for DMPA and NET-EN? .What I understand is that NET-EN is not in routine use in UK ? 4) A healthy 25 year old woman is using depo-medroxyprogesterone acetate for contraception. She presents for her next injection 10 days late. Please do give explanations and references for the answers…

1-A 2-C 3-C 4-B Is DMPA more efficacious than Norethisterone enantate? Can we use it in case numb. [1-] also ? thanks

Thank you very much , Dr Paul . Sorry , one query still pending ;Is Norethisterone Enanthate licenced for use / in routine use in UK ?
