Dear Dr. Paul,
regarding the EMQ for PTL primigravida, 28 wks, os closed regular uterine contractions and bleeding pv. your correct answer is expectant management even when placenta is fundal and no signs of abruptio.
I want to know that beeding can be a sign of ptl only so why not tocolysis.
my next querry is about hypertensive disorders that when a pt presents with epigastric pain, nausea and vomoting in the last trimestester, altough i would like to send serum aspartate transaminase but the very first thing that will come in my mind is commencing magnesium sulphate to prevent a fit.
whAT DO U THINK
thanking u in anticipation
Dr. Farina.
