difficult hysterectomy

difficult hysterectomy Posted by M M A.
 When there is Failure to pass urine 18 hours after difficult hysterectomy?the most likely diagnosis is prolong hypovolaemia or bilateral ureteric injury?
((difficult )) can mean presence of adhesion which make ureteric injury is more likely, and this word can mean prolong operation which with increased blood loss and prolong anasthsia??
so what is the most likely cause??

I think most likely is ureteric injury.

prolong hypovolemia as bilateral ureteric obstruction is unlikely
