HFEA requires reporting of severe untoward incidents, and this should include cases of sever OHSS as well as those cases requiring hospitalisation or complicated by thrombosis. Even if the patient is NOT pregnant.

Death from OHSS must be reported to MBRRACE-UK

Maternal Deaths eligible for notification to MBRRACE-uk are: All deaths of a pregnant woman and women up to one year following the end of pregnancy regardless of place and circumstances of death.
