A healthy 25 year old woman attends for follow-up following surgical evacuation of an incomplete miscarriage. Histology shows a partial molar pregnancy. She has been referred for follow-up at a monitoring centre. HCG levels have plateaued and follow-up continues. With respect to options for contraception

 

A.    Offer Cu IUCD

 

B.    Offer Cu or levonorgestrel IUCD

 

C.   Offer barrier contraceptives only

 

D.   Offer combined oral contraceptives but explain increased risk of persistent trophoblastic disease

 

E.    Offer combined or progestogen-only contraceptive
