Dear Paule:
As I understand from your own notes that both clomiphene & tamoxifen are used to induce ovulation...
clomiphen compete with endogenous E at hypothalamus causes increase in gonadotrophin & serum estradiol.
Tamoxifen increases serum estradiol while the level of gonadotrophin remain unchanged.
My Q is: why gonadotrophin remain unchanged with tamoxifen & how it induce ovulation???
Please clarify...
