A 28year old asymptomatic nulliparous woman has a cervical smear showing mild dyskaryosis. The cervix was clearly visualised and normal(It is not specified whether it is colposcopic visualisation).Busy Spr answer says that we should repeat the smear in 6 months.Why should we not refer her for colposcopy in the event that we dont do an HPV triage .This is what the "Current Management"in the new guidelines say.
