Not a useful question before the exam - you should aim to score maximum marks in every question and every part of the exam. The rules are irrelevant as they apply to everyone and this is a competitive exam. That means you could score 60% and still not pass.
And if can we use standard abbreviations in SAQ or not
So long as you are confident that you know what is STANDARD and what is not. If you decide it is standard and the examiner decides it is not then you lose. You should have enough time and space and you should avoid using abbreviations.
