I have just written the essay entitled 'What are the prognostic factors in women who have developed choriocarcinoma?' and marked it using your mark scheme.
Both the RCOG guideline and TOG article Nov 2008 state clearly that Age as a risk factor is below 40 or above 40 yrs of age. They also only use a low risk and high risk category of =6 or =7 respectively and use these categories to guide chemotherapy treatment regimes.
Could you clarify this for us please?
Many thanks
Alex

Thanks - this is an old question which had not been updated. It has now been updated. The notes have the updated version of the scoring system.
With respect to age, the scoring is less than 40 years (which is = 39 years) or >/= 40 years (which is > 39 years). It is just a matter of where you want to place the (=) sign.

Sorry, the pc is reading the < as html code.
Scoring system is less than 40 years (which is 39 years or less) or greater than or equal to 40 years (which is greater than 39 years).
